The Holy Shop explores the evolution of Christian objects within contemporary culture. Inspired by the Catholic Church’s growing desire to modernize its communication and engage younger generations, the project imagines a collection of religious objects redesigned through the codes of pop culture, technology and consumerism.
The collection includes Pocket Saint, a series of collectible saint figurines, The Rosary, an interactive prayer rosary, Inflatable Crucifix, a life-sized inflatable cross, Icon Case, a phone case inspired by Orthodox diptychs, and The Holy Candle, an electric devotional candle programmed around monastic prayer times.
By reinterpreting familiar religious artifacts through contemporary aesthetics and new uses, the project questions the relationship between faith, identity, belonging and consumption in today's society.
